Why Should You Go For A Graphic CV?

Are you tired of boring, long written and ordinary CV layouts?

Does an idea of getting started make you feel mentally tired? I believe it does!

How about taking a different approach and think of your CV as a branding yourself rather than writing a classic essay?

Think big, think outside of the box! Don't be afraid to stand out of the crowd and be different.

If you want to be noticed and get this dream job, reach out for it and sell your skills in a more creative way.

It does sound more exciting and less tiring, doesn't it?

Here's why you should at least think about it:

  • Brand yourself. Make yourself memorable. If your CV blends with others, who's going to remember you? In fact, why does anyone should?
  • Grab people's attention! Be more than just another "piece of paper". Be bold & be creative. Think from a different perspective and take a new approach.
  • Keep it short & simple! Your CV isn't a biography. It should highlight your skills and experience, not be your diary. Sell yourself, don't do story-telling, this is not about your past, but future. You need to make your potential employer interested in you, not bored.
  • Make it eye-friendly! Go for a fresh & creative templates. It doesn't have to be written in a plain and heavy way. Just add a bit of sparkle & magic to your content. It won't harm anyone!
  • Put yourself in someone else's shoes! If you were hiring and going through a pile of hundreds of sheets, what actually would grab your attention without even reading it first? A classic and ordinary text or a beautiful & creative layout?
  • Get it right! This isn't a painting and it doesn't have to be the masterpiece. Just take a step back and try to have a little fun with it. Choose a colour. Wrap it up into a frame. Highlight the most important factors. Try some graphics. Whatever works for you.
  • Find an inspiration. If you don't have an artistic mind and are lacking of ideas, do some research and find some. Still if you have to, just go for it!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not forcing my opinion on you or trying to convince you in any way. I just try to make your life easier and help you to be noticed.

Let's face it, you don't want to blend with others, but stand out from the rest, don't you?

So, do something about it and have a go. What you've got to lose?

Treat your CV as a key to your future door.
